Twin Trees

 Hello again,

Well, I am back with a pair of Christmas cards, to join in with some of the current challenges, getting ready for Christmas.

I followed the instructions with the Group of Seven Cardmakers ladies to make this pair of cards, heat embossing the background using Kaisercraft 'script' stamp (5cmx13cm) four times for each card, I did this on a cooler night as the days before have been more like Summer, placed the Christmas tree stencil from a magazine over, inked with Mowed Lawn, Candied Apple and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink. Sentiment stamped onto scraps of red card stock and heat embossed in white powder.

What I used:
Kaisercraft 'Script' clear stamp
Christmas Tree Stencil
Stitched rectangle die
MFT Christmas Stamps (sentiment)
2 white 12.6x17.8cm card blank (5x7")
Clear and White Embossing powders
Distress Oxide Inks, Candied Apple, Fossilized Amber, Mowed Lawn,
Red cardstock
Adhesives:- Double sided tape

I would like to enter these cards in:

Two visitors in the garden, Australian Magpies, adult bird at the front, baby bird at the back. As sweet as some Magpies are others are extremely territorial and these birds are known to swoop, sometimes causing severe injuries to those who wander, ride, play too close to their nests.

Have a wonderful week...
Thank you for looking in...
Megan

p.s. A Huge Thank you to all my blogging friends and visitors who stop by and leave me a comment, I truly appreciate them all!

A lovely pair of cards Megan, and great use of the technique.
The magpies here can also attack during nesting season if you get too close.
Blessings

Great cards Megan, I love the techniques you used to create them. The tree stencils are fabulous.
Magpies are one of my favourite birds. Their songs are so pretty and they really are quite intelligent. We have several families are us too, and all of them have babies at the moment, so it gets quite loud at dinnertime!
Cheers,
Beccy

Beautiful cards Meghan! Thanks for sharing the photo of your visitors. Being from Ohio USA, I had never seen these birds until visiting crafty friend Aussie Annie back in 2018. Your photo brought back memories ... thanks for that! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Peace On Earth challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.
