Hello again,
Many thanks to those of you who have asked if we are safe from the Bushfires currently burning in NSW, the nearest fire to us is about 50km away and is mostly burning in deep bushland where there are few houses and settlements, it has currently burnt through 189,980 hectares of mostly bushland. We did have a smaller fire closer to home, three towns away which unfortunately started after a house fire, it burnt through just 77 hectares of bush they lost two sheds and a caravan, (information courtesy of my neighbours 17yo son, who is a bushfire fighter with our local brigade) before it was extinguished. Thankfully this fire was in a southern valley which doesn't tend to burn during the summer months when the winds are mostly from the north.
I have been a little naughty, doing some extra colouring (and gardening, but that's another story). I bought this digi from Just Ink lined ages ago with the intention of making a Christmas card for my Uncle who always asked if he could go fishing in our now empty/broken fish tank, a standing joke each time he came to visit... Just Ink Lined appears to have closed down.... I have hidden the hanging hole in the paper pad under the sentiment
Here is my card:-
What I used:-
White 12.6x17.8cm card blank
blue polka dot paper
Just Ink Lined 'A Christmas Fish'
Faber-Castell and Derwent coloured pencils
scraps of black cardstock
Fiskars scalloped border punch
MFT pierced oval and pierced fishtail flags dies
Pebbles Home for Christmas paper pad
Sentiment from Create with TLC
Wink of Stella (over the fish bowl)

Cricket
Hello again,
Since I’ve been busy with my family tree of late I haven’t
had time to post my brothers birthday card. He is currently into
playing cricket with his local club, I used this image from Just Inklined for
my neighbours son last year too.
I added a few 'cherries' to the cricket bat when growing up my brother and his friends liked to play mini cricket inside the house when it was too wet or cold to be outside with one of those little high bounce rubber balls, which they liberally coated in red paint pen, for the specific purpose of making 'cherries' on the tiny bats, the stairwell has still got red paint marks down it as they hit a six and the ball bounced from side to side...
Here is my card:-
What I used:-
White card blank 12.7 x 17.8 (5x7”)
White card (printing leftovers for fence)
Just Inklined Cricketer Digi Stamp
Faber-Castell and Derwent Pencils
Dark and light grey card stock
Red cardstock
MFT Woodgrain fence die
Spellbinders Seth Apter Maze Embossing folder
Lili of the Valley Happy Circular Sentiment stamps
Nesting dies circle dies
Nesting rectangle dies
I decided to fussy cut the cricketers knee pad making it
protrude from the frame, I probably should have only cut one part out and left
the red frame intact, never mind
my brother won’t have noticed…

Shifting Gears or Years?
Hello again,
Well still t-i-r-e-d after a big trip to the big smoke to see the physio and an attempt at intentionally making myself sick so she could see, slept the two hour train trip back home and most of yesterday too.
As promised I am sharing one of the cards I made this month, this one went to my Uncle who in his spare time likes riding his road bike and often does charity rides and in the past ridden from Brisbane to Sydney or was it the other way round? (a distance of about 1000km or 622 miles) along with various other 'short' distances...
Here is my card:-
