Christmas wishlist...
Hello again,
Well after a full week of Holiday Chaos with the Design Team
over at Catch the Bug would you believe I’m still short on Christmas cards??? Just
as well I always colour extra images and have a few leftover. Today brings us
to the final day of this years Holiday Chaos challenge and today the challenge
is to create a card using a nine square bingo chart. I have used Bugaboo’s latest freebie, Crabby Cat Christmas.
Are you all ready for the big day yet? We’ve packed a box of
presents to go to my brother, sister in law and niece my Dad will be driving some
of my brothers possessions left in ‘storage’ at home along with most of the
Christmas gifts for them, unfortunately a few gifts are still on their way we will
have to post them once they arrive. As for the Christmas day lunch plans were
made a while ago, before I met a new doctor, who has placed me on an
elimination diet for the foreseeable future, thankfully I’m already used to
some of the diet having intolerances to a third of the food eliminated… I have already
requested Christmas post elimination diet…

Chester Merry Christmas
Hello again,
I have resurfaced from the depths of pain and am feeling well enough to be back at the computer (back to my tolerance level of pain)
Okay so this month (yes I know it’s almost over) I have been
really slack on making my Christmas cards and now have only two days left to
get them done, so this one has been sitting semi assembled on my piles of mess
otherwise known as a desk. :-)
My neighbour’s two sons are too old for us to choose
presents for and their Mum would rather us not buy a Chocolate filled stocking,
so cards with cash are the order of the day.
This is my second double ‘z’ card and I have cut a slit and
pocket in the back of the card to poke some cash in closer to Christmas, doing
this slit caused no problems at all (not) I have created some very large scraps
;-)
Earlier this year I was a lucky winner over at Little Miss
Muffet Stamps and I got to choose some digi stamps, I’m partial to cute monkeys
and little Chester found over at LMMS really is a little cutie.
Here is my card:-
What I used:-
White 14cm square card blank
Rouge AC cardstock
Echo Park Recollections Paper ‘Holiday Ornaments’
Faber-Castell Pencils
White cardstock (printer)
Memory Box die Sweet Candy Canes
Cottage cutz mini holly berry
die
MFT Pierced Square dies
Scalloped rectangle die
Red bling from stash
Scrap red striped and green cardstock
Clearly Besotted Sweet little Sentiments stamps
Create with TLC sentiment
Memento Tuxedo Black inkpad
White glitter
Adhesives: PVA glue, double-sided and foam tape

Bird Brain Christmas
Hello again...
This week I have another new Christmas card to share with you.
I have taken my inspiration from the layout of DaenY's wonderful card below
What I used: White card-stock and card blank, oval dies-Poppy-crafts, Darice snowflake embossing folder, Flat backed 'plastic domes for craft' (according to the packet), Sharpies, washi tape, Cuttlebug, Digi image Birdbrain the Chick-Christmas Spirit From the Heart Stamps
This week I have another new Christmas card to share with you.
I have taken my inspiration from the layout of DaenY's wonderful card below
I have altered the central shape on my card and dry embossed the oval with a snowflake folder which I raised up on foam pads, I stuck to safe Christmas colours of green and red washi tape which I stuck first on my cutting mat and used a Stanley knife to make the curved edges. I have coloured the digi image with pencils and fussy cut it, coloured the three flat backed embellishments with Sharpie's (the red one looks better than the green ones), I finished off with the sentiment which came with the image.
Challenges I am entering this card to:
Crimbo Crackers- Make me laugh
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra- All Christmas Cards
Merry Monday- Use Red and Green
Thanks for looking in...
have a good one
Megan
