CBD Anything goes August

Hello again,

I hope those in the North are enjoying their summer time, we have been having a run of cold, wet, foggy winter days here in my part of Aus. good weather to stay inside crafting. Today brings us to a new month long Anything goes challenge with my lovely team mates at Crafting By Designs, while my team mates enjoy a summer break this is the only challenge for the month. There are two sponsors this month offering two lucky winners a prize from their stores.

Prize  $6 voucher to store

Prize $15 Gift Certificate to store

I have used one of my favourite images from Di's Digi Stamp store Pots of Hedgehog Love, this was coloured earlier this year and I had pre die-cut it out then tucked it under my craft matt to keep it flat. I have used paper from Shimelle 'Star Shine' paper pad which I cut to fit the card after die-cutting the flower shape from the middle of the plain cardstock backing, okay so it wasn't quite even and I had to change plans and ended up with the two narrow strips top and bottom rather than just one at the bottom. I know, measure twice cut once.

Here is my card:-

What I used:-
White 17.4x12.4 top fold card blank
Di's Digi Stamp Pots of Hedgehog Love
DCWV Neutrals cardstock
Flower die cut
MFT pierced circle die
Shimelle 'Star Shine' paper pad
MFT sentiment die cut
Clearly Besotted Sentiment stamp
Flower lace
Colorbox ink pad 'Midnight'
Tiny blue bling
Adhesives:- Double sided tape and Diamond glaze

LPoCF Llama Kisses

Hello again,

Today brings us to a new Anything goes challenge over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends, we welcome any and all crafts so please join us and share what you are making, please make my new team mates Jen and Megan F. welcome, drop by and leave some love for them. This month we are sponsored by Imagine That who are offering the lucky winner $12 to spend in their store.

The design team were generously given images to work with and I have used Llama Kisses to make a calendar page for this month in my journal. I have used a background page created by wetting a page from an art diary and layering on some cheap tissue paper to make the colour bleed out making a mottled background.

Here is my calendar page:-

CBD Magnolia

Hello again,

Well I thought I'd never get this card done in time for the challenge, freezing cold weather, mist bound, poor light for photography, multiple mistakes that ended up in the WPB. My sentiment panel is a little skewed but not so badly that I tossed the lot... this card is decidedly clean and simple for me.

Today brings us to a month long challenge with the lovely ladies over at Crafting By Designs this month we have been sponsored by Fred She Said Designs and I chose to work with the pre coloured set Magnolias, to make a birthday card for one of our family history friends who loves her garden.

Here is my card:-
What I used:-
White 12.6x17.8cm card blank
Navy leather grained cardstock
Polka dot paper
Fred She Said Designs Magnolia Pre Coloured Set LINK
Memory box Tessatina border die
Mpress Crafts nesting die
Sentiment stamps from craft magazine gift
Clear embossing ink
Wow! metallic super fine silver embossing powder
Kaisercraft adhesive pearls
Adhesives:- Double sided tape, glue pen
