I’m back to share the
card I made for my Mum for Mother’s Day, I have gone back to a plain fold card
as last year I made a fancy ‘Joy Fold’ card which although pretty,
collapsed and couldn’t support its self 😞
I have used a pretty
hydrangea stamp which arrived with my magazine subscription to Australian
Simply cards, Mum loves the blue/mauve hydrangea flowers and until a large
storm butchered and killed our bushes, were grown in the back yard, due to our
soil type the flowers were always pink and to get the blue flowers she wanted
most required buying ‘blueing tonic’.
This has been the first time I have used my Prismacolor pencils, they were a Christmas Present from my brother and his craft loving wife two Christmases ago... I will admit being a little scared of them...
I think this must be a first for me, I’m usually madly making my Mother’s Day card the day before, and this must be a record…. Now just need to find a present…
