CBD September Anything Goes

Hello again,

Well our ceiling repairs are well underway and then comes putting everything back into the usual spots, where I will hopefully be able to lay my hands on more of my supplies than just now, I managed to make two Christmas cards using my Christmas supplies which are in a storage tub under the drawers at the desk I sit at for this months Anything goes Challenge with the lovely ladies at Crafting By Designs. I have used two images from two of the four sponsors who are each offering a prize for one of four lucky winners.

Prize Winners Choice of Two Digi Stamps

Prize $20 gift certificate for Store

Prize $15 Gift Certificate to store

Prize $10 Gift Certificate

I have used Going home from our first sponsor LeAnn's World 101 to make the first Christmas card, using a sheet of double sided paper and a strip of Christmas striped paper

Card One

For my second card I have used a super cute little puppy digi from our fourth sponsor Oddball Art called Santa's Pup to make a card for one of our family history friends who sadly had to have her rescue dog of 5 months put down late last month due to the dog having severe medical issues that the vets were unable to treat.  I used the reverse side of the cardstock from the card above for this one...

LPoCF Make a wish

Hello again,

I'm feeling the winter chill today, we rarely get snow that settles and this week woke to 4 inch deep snow fall which caused the Police to close the local area to all cars, which was followed up by a mini blizzard the next morning, thanks to an Antarctic blast. Just to add to all of this we have had a slow leak in the ceiling which dripped all over the book shelf I keep my card making supplies in, which means I have had to have a forced clean up and the ceiling has had to be cut open to find the location of the problem meaning our house looks like a craft bomb has hit it, my supplies are everywhere while the ceiling/roof timbers dry out and then it can be repaired... so it turns out that the hot water heater over flow pipe that runs to the outside of the house was never sealed when it was installed more than 40yrs ago and it has slowly move apart leaving a gap of 3 inches where there was no pipes connected...

Today brings us to a new challenge with my lovely team mates over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends which is as always Anything goes, this fortnight we are sponsored by Emerald Faeries who generously gave the design team two images to work with, I have used the super cute image called Jewel to make a very girly card. I'm currently unable to find the digi sentiment on my pc, not sure if it is the one that appears to not want to play after my recent upgrades.

Here is my card:-
What I used:-
White 12.6x.17.8cm card blank (5"x7")

Derwent and Faber Castell pencils
Clear Wink of Stella
Lili of the Valley & Nitwit Collections Bonnets and Bowties paper
Oval and lace oval dies
Kaisercraft leaves die
Jeweled flowers from stash
Adhesives:- Double sided tape, glue stick and PVA glue

CBD Anything goes August

Hello again,

I hope those in the North are enjoying their summer time, we have been having a run of cold, wet, foggy winter days here in my part of Aus. good weather to stay inside crafting. Today brings us to a new month long Anything goes challenge with my lovely team mates at Crafting By Designs, while my team mates enjoy a summer break this is the only challenge for the month. There are two sponsors this month offering two lucky winners a prize from their stores.

Prize  $6 voucher to store

Prize $15 Gift Certificate to store

I have used one of my favourite images from Di's Digi Stamp store Pots of Hedgehog Love, this was coloured earlier this year and I had pre die-cut it out then tucked it under my craft matt to keep it flat. I have used paper from Shimelle 'Star Shine' paper pad which I cut to fit the card after die-cutting the flower shape from the middle of the plain cardstock backing, okay so it wasn't quite even and I had to change plans and ended up with the two narrow strips top and bottom rather than just one at the bottom. I know, measure twice cut once.

Here is my card:-

What I used:-
White 17.4x12.4 top fold card blank
Di's Digi Stamp Pots of Hedgehog Love
DCWV Neutrals cardstock
Flower die cut
MFT pierced circle die
Shimelle 'Star Shine' paper pad
MFT sentiment die cut
Clearly Besotted Sentiment stamp
Flower lace
Colorbox ink pad 'Midnight'
Tiny blue bling
Adhesives:- Double sided tape and Diamond glaze
