I am grateful that I bought my knee scooter (note: self-propelled, not electric) as having to hire one was going to be far more expensive. Whilst out grocery shopping, I've had a couple of people who were incredulous at seeing someone 'riding' a scooter inside the store, one lady who stopped to tell me she had been on one last year and that they are better than using crutches and another who said her husband had broken his ankle and he wanted one as it would be easier than the crutches he got from the hospital and finally one little boy who promptly asked his Dad why that lady was scootering inside as scooters are meant for outside, his Dad replied that he thinks that the lady might have a sore foot.
Thank you for looking in

Oh gosh this is fabulous Megan! I love the fun colour palette and overall card design! Super colouring, I love it!
Fabulous birthday card! So many wonderful details and bright colors. Great use of scraps and I love how you framed everything with the glitter tape. Thanks for sharing with A Cut Above's February Challenge.
Oh Megan, your card is so happy & fun! Sure to bring a smile! Glad to hear your 'coming along' and glad you got some wheels under you to help you get around ... yes SO much easier than crutches. My husband had a very bad snowmobile accident years ago and still has all his pins, plates & screws from his thigh to his ankle. Wishing you good luck with your removal surgery.
Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Neglected Stuff challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.

I LOVE this, Megan, it's so stinkin' CUTE. I'm such a sucker for patterned paper, so this is especially nice to me. Lots of wonderful work, you certainly have a great eye for color and design. Thanks for playing along with us over at A Cut Above, I hope we see you back again soon!!

Such a cheery happy birthday card Megan, and so glad you're healing well and praying it continues.
My sister has foot surgery on 10th March and has a scooter ready for it too. As someone who struggled with crutches in past before they invented, I think they're wonderful.
Shame about the screw needing op, I think my sister has that ahead of her too. God be with you and keep well. I'm crafting just not blogging much.
Prayer hugs, 🙏🏻🤗
