Christmas In July

Hello again,

This month we are celebrating Christmas in July over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends, each week we will begin a new challenge. We have one lovely sponsor each week, this week we are sponsored by Ching-Chou Kuik who have  kindly given the design team two images to work with. I have used Gingerbread Man Parade to make a very quick and easy Christmas card.

I don't know how many of our local businesses are having Yulefest this year due to Covid-19 and associated restrictions, it is usually quite popular, especially if we have snow predicted for people to enjoy a traditional hot Christmas dinner, with carols and other festivities. While we in the Southern Hemisphere are enjoying traditional hot meals, gathering around a fireplace etc., I guess that those in the Northern hemisphere are enjoying a summer style Christmas ?

Prize:- Same two images Design Team have used

You can see more of her amazing work via any of the below channels
They also run a Facebook challenge in their group

Here is my card:-

What I used:-
White 12.6 x 17.8cm card blank
Derwent and Faber-Castell pencils
Gold gel ink pen
Clear Wink of Stella (snowman)
Diamond Glaze (lollipops and carrot nose)
Kraft paper
Strip of Christmas Create Foil and Glitter (Hunter Leisure)
Pinking blade on We R Memory Keepers Twist trimmer (magnetic)
Freebie Christmas Gingerbread stamp Magazine
Scrap brown paper
Clear embossing ink
Opaque Whispers embossing powder
Bright circle stickers

I would like to enter this card in:-

Thank you for looking in...
Have a wonderful week...
Megan

Gorgeous card Megan, lovely image. Here in Cornwall its usually a mild wet rainy Christmas - snow is rare for our area. Emmax

Beautiful colour Megan, it’s a lovely image, great work.
Yes praying much re Covid situation in all nations,,esp settles in southern Oz in big cities. Don’t get why folk are so flippant, as a friend said it’s as contagious as head lice but potentially deadly,
Thanks for Sharing, God bless and keep you safe, and all those you love, hugs Shaz in Oz.x
