LPoCF #178 All Dressed Up

 Hello again,

We are starting to dry out here, we have had over 2 feet of rainfall (in ten days) where I live and the yard and laundry flooded again, some silly people have crossed the local creek ahead of the rain storm and had to be rescued when surprise the creek became impassable and yes they stepped over the warning signs not to go into the bush due to the weather. Heading out to an appointment a group of people dressed only in their underwear were walking out of another part of the bush where local guides take people canyoning all of which remain closed after the extreme weather. We have had a small water-dragon move into our backyard, not sure how long it might stay as the pit drain has now only got mud left. The local train line has had two landslides and one sink hole, they are estimating a minimum two weeks until they can reopen the train line....

Prize 2 Images

So today brings us to an all new Anything goes Challenge with my lovely team mates over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends, this fortnight we are sponsored by All Dressed Up who offered the team two images to work with. I have chosen Russian Dolls, I printed them a little larger than I would usually and have paper pieced the smaller one with some scrap papers from my stash, adding a lace border, a doily die and some tiny silver flat backed gems. (please note this image was selected long before the current issues started)

What I used:-
White C7 card blank 12.6x17.8cm
Hot off the Press 'Botanical Etchings' papers
Faber-Castell coloured pencils
Scrap wood grain paper (hair)
White die cut doily die (I think couture creations)
MFT pierced circle die
Lace
Silver X-Press-it tape
1mm flat backed gems
Sentiment stamp from magazine
Clear embossing ink
Wow! Metallic silver super fine embossing powder
