LPoCF#198 Conie Fong

 Hello all,

Wishing you all a very Happy, safe, healthy and Crafty New Year, I want to join in a few more challenges this year, it will of course depend on how I am feeling and if the physiotherapist will allow me to do more craft... 

Another New Year, I hope you have all enjoyed the celebrations of the start of a New Year, some locals let off illegal fireworks, there were no local fireworks, as a child I remember being taken to the local railway station with Dad and his binoculars to see the fireworks in Sydney, nearly 100km away, being in the mountains we can on a clear day see Sydney's skyline...

Today brings us to an all-new challenge with my team mates over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends, this fortnight we are sponsored by Conie Fong who kindly gave the design team three images to work with, I have used Conie Fong Peonies in a Jar to make a start on birthday cards for the coming year.

Faber-Castell and Derwent Coloured pencils
White 14cm square card blank
Kaisercraft 'High Tea' patterned papers
Art Stamps Australia sentiment stamp
Clear embossing ink
Metallic Silver super fine embossing powder
Circle and MFT Fishtail flag dies
three adhesive pearls
Double sided tape and foam dots for the sentiment
Diamond glaze added to the glass jar

    What a pretty card...you have coloured the rose so beautifully with your pencils. great fussy cutting too by the look of it. Fancy being able to see Sydney with binoculars from where you are.....that's amazing! xx
